For the last five years I have moderated the program called "Nie Do Wiary" (Translated: "It's Incredible") that is broadcast on the TVN Channel in Poland. It is an ironic twist of fate that I have this job because I am a person who has a strong technical background and whose life philosophy is more purely materialistic. But somehow, I have become a key person in the media to offer presentations about paranormal activities and to report such phenomena that is occurring (somewhat frequently) in Poland today.

Well on second thought, I would often discuss such subjects with my friends while we were dining together to provoke them. I would bring to their attention examples of strange phenomena ("force majeure" -- super powers) or different world mysteries that science has no rational explanations for. Of course, they would generally dismiss such things as pure fantasy but I liked to do this just for fun. It was intellectually stimulating for me.

To my surprise, once I became thoroughly anchored in the field of the paranormal, I soon started to have my own ambivalent feelings about these things. On the one hand I had decided to reserve my skepticism and keep a distance from it, but on the other hand I found myself feeling sort of jealous about the experiences that the people and psychics were talking about who I was interviewing. In general, such experiences have been totally unavailable to me even though I have tried to practice to do them from time to time. But, I must admit, that (after a time) to have such a personal experience like this of a paranormal nature, started to become very attractive for me. So, I had to accept that my role for the moment was just to report the stories of others and give up on the idea that I might have my own psychic encounter. Thus, I stopped trying to make "my experience" happen and remained open that such an opportunity might just happen to me, one day in the future.

Now, when I came into contact with Joshua Shapiro and his work with the Crystal Skulls, I was not intentionally seeking any special psychic experience. My goal was simply to: Report the history and the mysteries connected with the ancient artifacts that are known as the crystal skulls on my TV Show, "Nie Do Wiary". As the term suggests, a crystal skull is a piece of quartz crystal that is in the shape of a skull.

In order to create this program on the skulls, I originally planned to visit Joshua in the USA so we could film and interview him in his native environment. The trip however had to be cancelled due to our (financial) budget and some narrow thinking by certain decision makers within our production company. I was a bit frustrated then, but we have a saying in Polish: "Nothing bad happens that can not turn into something good". So it was to be for this situation as well. Instead of flying to the USA, I eventually arranged for Joshua Shapiro and his wife Desy, to travel to Poland for a very exciting and surprising visit in November 2001 filled with great expectations.

Not only did we have a chance to do Joshua's interview for our program during our visit together, but I was also able to arrange for Desy to run an exorcism in a haunted house in Drzewica for "Nie Do Wiary", that we filmed too. One of the most enjoyable parts of their visit was my facilitation of translating their English into Polish during their individual spiritual healing sessions and tour in various parts of our country. As I spent time interpreting Joshua's crystal skull presentations and the advice he was giving for the clients in their sessions, I had numerous opportunities to have contact with one of their major healing tools -- their Crystal Skulls, including by name "Portal de Luz", "Unity" and "Mozes of Peace".

Then, I had my first time opportunity to learn about the special energies connected to the skulls as I watched how people reacted to their presence. Then, I finally had my own experiences around the skulls and discovered that perhaps not all of these more psychic types of experiences were really denied to me. For the details of some of my experiences, you can discover them within this book. However, the main reason that I have decided to participate in this book project has very little to do with my psychic experiences.

During our sessions I became very fascinated with the personality and personal life philosophy of Joshua. He introduces himself as an intuitive counselor (a spiritual channeler) and a Crystal Skull Explorer. He has developed a special relationship with his Spiritual Guides so that he is able to hear them inside of himself and works with their advice. I was quite amazed how much he trusts and has confidence in the arguments given by 'These Guides' as he takes their suggestion as his own. And this "Guidance" as he calls it, doesn't seem to fail him very often.

Moreover, Joshua offers the advice he receives from his "Spiritual Guides" to the general public through the spiritual healing sessions and the informative "Be Your Own Healer" workshops that he and his wife Desy provide. And at first, for me it was a great challenge to be a part of these healing sessions. When we first started to work together and I watched Joshua and Desy helping people to understand how the energy of quartz crystals could really help to heal them, I thought to myself, "Am I in the right place?" I felt that I was the wrong person to be their translator and was completely regretting my decision to participate and help in this work at all. But I decided I needed to keep my promise to Joshua and Desy, so I committed myself to do the best job of translating I could, whether I liked it or not.

Much to my surprise however, I begin to realize that what Joshua and Desy were doing was really helping the people who came to see them and it proved itself to be based on truth, time and again. I was a witness to a real time "Nie Do Wiary", watching both of them helping their clients who were sick and suffering begin to release their pain, to cry (releasing intense negative emotions) and smiling when they left. Joshua and Desy had each client do a short meditation with the beautiful music written by the German composer Pachelbel and to spontaneously select which crystal skull (of the three that were present) they wanted to work with. Instead of hearing the client complain about the service being provided, I witnessed on numerous occasions, the deep satisfaction and gratitude of their clients for the help given to them by Joshua and Desy.

Again, during their return tour of Poland in June and November of 2002, a number of people came to re-visit the Shapiros (or the Shapiroskis as we affectionately called them) for their sessions and brought great praise about the effects they had received from their former visits. This helped me to understand that the service and help that Joshua Shapiro with his muse Desy were offering is a true phenomenon, a paranormal one that is repeatable and easily accessible for anyone.

In the Shapiro's healing sessions, the key role is played by the puzzling quartz crystal skulls. There are many reports in literature about how quartz crystal is able to affect other people, but the Crystal Skulls seem to add something more to the action of the quartz. The skulls have a specific shape that on the one hand scares many people but yet, on the other hand, this shape seems to play a very important role in what Crystal Skulls are all about. Joshua and Desy will give you many more details about the skulls within this book. Let's talk about the crystal skulls for a moment then.

The ancient Crystal Skulls have been discovered from the mid 19th through the 20th century and are truly some of the most remarkable and amazing artifacts found in archaeological digs today. No scientific institution has yet to fully explain the technology used to create and produce these skulls by the so-called ancient cultures in which these skulls have been found or even what their true purpose for being created is.

Of course, having spent some time with Joshua, he will be giving you all the exciting details about the crystal skulls in this book. Especially he will share with you, what I believe is the most important factors related to this subject, "How will the Crystal Skulls benefit mankind? And are we ready to realize what they will offer us?"
