What is EMF?

A killer has been let loose on the world. It has been around for many years but now we are just beginning to visualize and understand the way in which it can breakdown the human body. The killer is invisible to the eye, tasteless, has no smell, has no touch, and mindlessly is aggravating current human health issues or becoming the causing factor in many human illness's and diseases.

All of the world's people, animals, and plants are at danger from increased risk of disease, physical health issues, and possible causes of death due to large amounts of electrical fields of radiation called EMF. It can be dangerous to all living things.

EMF(Electro Magnetic Frequencies or Fields) is a form of radiation composed of electric and magnetic fields, both found across a wide range of frequencies, from Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) all the way through visible light (above which radiation is termed "ionizing") up to gamma rays.

An electrical appliance, when plugged in but not necessarily turned on, generates electrical fields. These fields are measured in volts per meter (V/m).

The same appliance will carry a magnetic field to it when turned on. The magnetic field is produced by the current of electricity flowing to it. Measurements of electromagnetic frequencies generated by the appliance are reported and measured in milligauss (mg). Power is emitted from these types of objects when in use and the long and short term effects can be devastating.

At this time most scientist and industry leaders are saying more research is needed and current studies are being performed, to have better conclusive information to prove to the international community that there is or is not a worry or concern for EMF sources.

It is my belief that we will find answers in present and future studies. I believe that we will discover that EMF can be blamed for many current and past illnesses of people and animals.

My hope is that the scientific community, along with the International Health Organizations and industry leaders, will be able to provide information and safety standards that will give people an idea of what is and has been going on around them in their environments. It is a fact that the EMF is present in our daily lives. We now need to understand it more to be able to protect ourselves better from any dangers it could present.
