Tom Johnson was born in Seymour, Texas, July 26, 1940, but most of his grade school and Jr. High was in Wichita Falls, Texas. In 1958 Tom joined the Army to get away from ranch and farm life and spent twenty years in the military and made a career in law enforcement. He graduated from the Institute of Applied Sciences in 1968. It was while serving in France, from 1963 to 1966, when working nights as a desk sergeant for the MPs, that he created the plots for two science fiction novels. However, it wasn't until he finished a tour in the jungles of Vietnam that the complete stories came to him. After retirement, Tom and his wife, Ginger live in Seymour, Texas. They published the pulp hobby magazine, Echoes for 100 issues. He still collects books, while running a small book store out of his home. Tom enjoys talking about books, especially science fiction and super heroes with other writers and readers.
