Ann Andrews was born in South London and had a poor, but very happy upbringing. Her mother was a middleclass housewife, and she received her great love of nature and animals from her Romany father. At age 12, they moved to the country where she subsequently met her husband of 26 years, Paul. They have two sons: Daniel, 25 and Jason, 21. It was after Jason was born that another well-hidden part of their lives came to light -- that Jason and Ann are alien abductees. From that time the whole family was plagued by strange paranormal experiences. It took nearly twelve years to finally accept the possibility of alien interaction in their lives, after searching for any other explanation.
Ann is also the author of Abducted: The True Story of Alien Abduction in Rural England (1998), which documented the truth of their situation, and their fear, anger, and confusion. Jason, My Indigo Child is written from a place of calm knowing of who they are. The entire family now feels able to deal with the alien agenda and all the paranormal things that continue to occur in their home, but it can still be disconcerting at times. Ann states that they now feel thankful -- in a strange sort of way.
